今天在国外莫里康论坛上看到一位朋友提供了这样一段信息，发现Amapola的诞生还是和Morricone大师有点渊源的，也因此他才会在著名的《美国往事》音乐中多次采用这段主题，并且这段主题也会出现在原声带中。而片中真正的“拿来主题”——甲克虫的“Yesterday”只是一闪而过，同时也没有出现在原声带中。

In the early 80s Morricone scored a classic gangster soundtraack in Sergio Leone's ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA. The composer also arranged a number of themes not worked by his own hand(including the Beatles classic song 'Yesterday' and most notably the beautiful theme in 'Amapola').
Well did you know Morricone had in fact worked the 'Amapola' theme into a cuban-style pop vocal as far back as 1964?
The song is simply called 'Amapola' and is featured on the very very rare RCA PML LP by Cuban brothers LOS HERMANOS RIGUAL(whom had recorded two albums with Morricone).It has a lively and beautiful Morricone arrangement and I recognised the theme straight away.
Funny after all these years I didn't know the credits were connected,so in fact Morricone had worked this piece twenty years or so before AMERICA.

amapola最早的作品形式是Jazz风格的钢琴曲，作者是西班牙裔美国人，名字待我查询后告之。我手头有用手风琴演奏的最初风格的amapola，节奏轻快活泼，很好听。在美国往事中，大师把它演绎成圆舞曲形式，那已经是再创作了。
