is progressing, alternative is developing, the factory
is placidity slowly. The relations between Califfa and
Doberdo also took place dramatic change in the contact
in more and once. Once chance encounter in a failed
lift, make the heart between them happened unexpectedly

is an especial dinner, it seems a dreamland, Doberdo
is eating alone, Califfa come to here without previous
arrangement and sit down to eat in Doberdo's tacit permission.
The music just is the famous "Le cena" (The
dinner). This is a turning point between their relations.

| The
amour between both seem fused opposite thought. It is
regret because the lingual obstacle we cannot understand
which change has happened. But we can look some scenes,
the worker's contingent appeared differentiation and conflict;
in the mill-owner's side, the aboil controversy took placed.

| This
is a last appointment between both, they are discussing
some things, maybe longing to future. But the death adversity
is waiting Doberdo, in the morning, Doberdo leave Califfa,
in the road he return his factory, a ball from a car shoot
him, he fall down at last. The end scene still is bloody.
The director and writer seem want to tell people, even
though all people have their nice desire and cause, but
the world is not pacific, conflict, struggle and even
murder, violence, war like a not motion to go away incubus.
Here I remember movie "The
Hawks And The Sparrows" (See
here) make by Pasolini, in the subtitle of starting
of the movie, an American writer Edgard Snow ask MAO:
"Where is mankind going
? .... Hmph!". Perhaps, this just is the
movie's problem and a theme put forward by the writer! |
