An
analysis and research on the
2013 filmography books from German
|
| The
whole catalogue in the books "ENNIO MORRICONE FILMOGRAFIE" published
by www.epubli.de in December
2013 has been collated and released by the site ( See
here). Below we will conduct a more detailed analysis and research by
contrastive analysis method with the
official chronology (Hereinafter referred to
as Official-M) and 2015
third edition chronolofy of the site (Hereinafter referred to as
2015-T. And the 2010 second edition
to as 2010-S), given appropriate comments
for the German chronology
(Hereinafter referred to as German-B)

the above statistics, now we can already make a comment to the German 2013
chronology: |
| 1.
The main contents
of the German chronology is based on the chronology of the Ennio Morricone
official site. Because the official data release only 1961-2008, so we have
to use the data from 1961-2008 to compare. The total amount are 401 works
in the official site period 1961-2008, where 396 works appeared in German
chronology. It is 98.8% of the total number of official site, is 90.2% of
the 439 works of the German chronology itself in same period. Therefore
we can conclude that the above understanding. |

DONNE also are one directory in the official chronology), compared with
the 2015 third edition of chronology of the site, among 2 directories belong
to TC category, 2 directories belong to TU category, The remaining 46 directories

the number of view, it is still far from enough. |

not this directory in the 2015 third edition of chronology of the site?
It is because the different definitions of chronology. It has been described
in the third edition of chronology (See
here): " It is not included in the chronology that Morricone served
as other non-composer roles such as conductor,
Music Supervisor, Music
Advisor...., and non-film
music (example absolute music)....." According to the author statistics,
there are about 14 works belong to this category (Mainly in the 60 and 70's.
Not included in the same film to work as a composer and conductor) . They
are all not included in the 2015
third edition of chronology of the site.
I think that This definition is the first problem to be solved In the future
revision of the chronology of the official website. |

It is 1972 Italian film, its director is Vittorio Sindoni, but haven't any
composer's info. cannot find the film in ChiMai
and STC
site. After that, it was found in several Italian web sites. |

entanglement between a priest and a hippie girl. Its composer is Mario Bertoncini |

we also need to do some investigation for this new combination of consonance
impromptu band. This thing is not difficult, and soon found its information
in
wiki site . It also published a photo of the band, that included Morricone.
Looking at the photo, Morricone seems to be the band's central figure (the
late sixties, Morricone has become famous ) |

Holland website. And it seems Morricone's trumpet playing is also
a sign of the band, so we can understand why this German book mentioned
the Nuova Consonanza in its chronology.

far, we have to be sure that the composers of the film include Ennio Morricone.
It conforms to the definition of the TB category of the 2015 third edition
chronology of the site, therefore the site has decided to make the film
added to the 2015 third edition of chronology, numbered TB7209.

In the end, we can make a general comment on it in a few words: |

The German
chronology book overall is still based on the chronology of Morricone official
website. But it has already shown some progress：First it has been extended
from 2008 to 2012; Second, it is more important to make correction for some
errors recognized by majority
in the chronology of Official website (Example NA6101，6103，6104), reflects
gradually accumulated consensus of civil persons. But the correction for
others works (Example NA9004, NA9501), also reflects the differences in
understanding. Third, in the newly added 50 works, 44 works (i.e. the 2015
third Edition chronology of TB category) is composed by Morricone alone
or cooperation, 2 works cited Morricone' music (TC category), 2 works belong
